Bill McCarthy (rugby league)
Bill McCarthy was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s and 1930s. He primarily played as a hooker.
McCarthy played for the Eastern Suburbs club in the New South Wales Rugby Football League (NSWRFL) competition. He was a member of the Eastern Suburbs side that won three consecutive premierships from 1922 to 1924. He also represented New South Wales.
