Ben Mee

Ben Mee (born September 21, 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Brentford.

Mee began his career in the Manchester City youth academy, progressing through the ranks but failing to make a senior appearance for the club. He had loan spells at Leicester City and Burnley before joining Burnley permanently in January 2012.

He became a key player for Burnley, captaining the side and helping them achieve promotion to the Premier League on multiple occasions. Mee was known for his defensive solidity, leadership qualities, and commitment to Burnley. He made over 300 appearances for the club across all competitions.

In July 2022, Mee joined Brentford on a free transfer. He has since become an important part of their defensive setup.
