BBC Live (Violent Femmes album)

BBC Live is a live album by American folk-punk band Violent Femmes, released in 2005 by Rhino Handmade. The album comprises recordings of two separate performances the band gave for the BBC. The first half of the album features a set performed on July 26, 1984, for the David "Kid" Jensen Show. The second half of the album consists of a performance recorded for the Janice Long Show on November 7, 1988. The tracks feature stripped-down, acoustic versions of many of the band's popular songs as well as a cover of T. Rex's "Children of the Revolution." The album captures the raw energy and unique sound of the Violent Femmes in a live setting.
