Ayo (singer)

Ayo, born Joy Olasunmibo Ogunmakin on September 14, 1980, is a German singer-songwriter and actress. Her stage name "Ayo" translates to "joy" in Yoruba, her father's tribal language.

Ayo's musical style blends soul, folk, and reggae influences. She is known for her acoustic guitar-driven songs and soulful vocals. She released her debut album, Joyful, in 2006, which achieved significant commercial success across Europe.
