HC Merano

HC Merano is an ice hockey team based in Merano, Italy. The club was founded in 1954. They compete in the Italian Hockey League (IHL), which is the second tier of ice hockey in Italy, after the ICE Hockey League (formerly known as the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga).

Historically, HC Merano has been a significant team in Italian ice hockey, having won the Serie A championship four times: in 1985, 1986, 1996, and 1999. They play their home games at the Meranarena.
