Aleksander Michał Lubomirski (died 1677)
Aleksander Michał Lubomirski (died 1677) was a Polish nobleman (szlachcic) of the Lubomirski family, holding the title of Prince of the Holy Roman Empire. He served as Starosta of Sącz and Rabsztyn.
He was the son of Stanisław Lubomirski, Voivode of Kraków, and Zofia Ostrogska. His siblings included Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski, a prominent magnate who led a rebellion against King John II Casimir.
Aleksander Michał Lubomirski participated in numerous military campaigns of his era, notably against the Cossacks, Swedes, and Russians. He was known for his valor and military prowess. He did not achieve the same level of political prominence as some of his relatives, but remained an active participant in the affairs of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
He married Helena Krystyna Zasławska, daughter of Władysław Dominik Zasławski-Ostrogski, Voivode of Kraków. They had children, including Józef Karol Lubomirski.
His death in 1677 marked the end of a long and active life dedicated to the service of the Commonwealth.
