Potomac station (Pittsburgh Regional Transit)
Potomac station is a light rail station on the Port Authority of Allegheny County's Pittsburgh Light Rail system, serving the South Hills neighborhood of Dormont, Pennsylvania. The station is located on Potomac Avenue, between Espy Avenue and Belrose Avenue.
The station is a stop on the Blue Line (Library/South Hills Village) and the Red Line (Overbrook). It consists of two side platforms serving two tracks. Passengers access the platforms via ramps from Potomac Avenue. The station provides access to local businesses and residential areas in Dormont.
Potomac station is one of several stations located within the South Hills Junction, a significant junction point where lines from different branches of the light rail system converge. This allows for relatively frequent service to and from the station.
The station is wheelchair accessible.
