Alan Green (Cleethorpes politician)

Alan Green is a British politician who served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Cleethorpes constituency from 1997 to 2010.

Born in Grimsby, Green entered Parliament in the 1997 general election, defeating the incumbent Conservative MP Shersby. He was a Labour MP.

During his time in Parliament, Green served on various select committees. He also held positions within the Labour government.

In the 2010 general election, Green lost his seat to the Conservative candidate Martin Vickers. Since leaving Parliament, he has remained active in local community affairs.
