Zorge (river)

The Zorge is a small river located in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is a right tributary of the Helme river. The Zorge rises in the Harz mountains, near the town of Zorge, from which it derives its name. It flows generally in a southeasterly direction, passing through or near several small villages and towns before joining the Helme. The river is relatively short, with a total length of approximately 40 kilometers. Its watershed is primarily characterized by agricultural land and forests.
