Zollywood

Zollywood is a colloquial term referring to the film industry of Zambia. It's a portmanteau of "Zambia" and "Hollywood," the globally recognized center of American cinema. Zollywood is used to describe and promote Zambian film production, acting talent, and filmmaking endeavors. While the term aims to generate awareness and a sense of identity for the industry, Zambian cinema is still developing and faces challenges related to funding, infrastructure, and distribution.
