Lucy Allan (politician)

Lucy Allan (born 29 May 1964) is a British Conservative Party politician. She has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Telford since the 2015 general election.

Prior to entering Parliament, Allan worked in business and communications. She served as a local councillor in Wandsworth, London, before contesting the Telford seat.

As an MP, Allan has served on various parliamentary committees, including the Education Select Committee. She has also been involved in campaigns related to infrastructure improvements and local issues within her constituency. Her political positions are generally aligned with the Conservative Party platform. She has often spoken about the importance of apprenticeships and skills training. Allan was re-elected in 2017 and 2019.
