Peter Wright (rugby union, born 1967)
Peter Wright (born 30 October 1967) is a former Scottish international rugby union player. He played primarily as a prop.
Wright played club rugby for Hawick RFC, where he was a key member of their dominant team in the 1990s. He earned his first cap for Scotland against Argentina in 1990. He was a member of the Scotland squad for the 1995 Rugby World Cup in South Africa.
Wright was known for his strong scrummaging and robust play. He represented Scotland on 14 occasions. After retiring from professional rugby, Wright remained involved in the sport through coaching and other roles. He has also worked in business.
