Yamashita Station (Miyagi)

Station Layout
Yamashita Station features two opposed side platforms serving two tracks. The platforms are connected by a footbridge. The station building houses a waiting area and ticket vending machines.
History
Yamashita Station opened on April 10, 1928. It was severely damaged by the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami and was subsequently rebuilt on higher ground. The station reopened on May 30, 2015, after the relocation of the line further inland.
