Wolfgang Huber (1940)
Wolfgang Huber, born August 12, 1940, is a German theologian, academic, and public intellectual. He served as Bishop of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia (Evangelische Kirche Berlin-Brandenburg-schlesische Oberlausitz) from 1994 to 2009 and as Chairman of the Council of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) from 2003 to 2009.
