Karagar (film)

Karagar is a Bengali-language prison drama web series directed by Syed Ahmed Shawki and produced by Redoan Rony under the banner of Film Syndicate. The series stars Chanchal Chowdhury in the lead role alongside Tasnia Farin, Intekhab Dinar, and এফ এস নাঈম (F.S. Nayeem).

The series revolves around a mysterious inmate who appears in cell number 145 of a prison that has been shut down for the past 50 years. This inmate claims to have been imprisoned for 200 years and adds to the intrigue and mystery surrounding his existence. The narrative unfolds exploring his story and the secrets hidden within the prison walls.

The first part of the series, titled "Karagar Part 1", was released on Hoichoi on August 19, 2022. "Karagar Part 2" was subsequently released on December 22, 2022, also on Hoichoi. The series has garnered positive reviews for its intriguing plot, strong performances, and suspenseful atmosphere.
