R-5 regional road (Montenegro)

The R-5 regional road is a regional road in Montenegro. It connects the M-2 highway near Biogradska Gora National Park and Mojkovac to Pljevlja.

The R-5 is a significant route for connecting northern Montenegro. It provides access to Pljevlja, an important industrial and mining center, from the central part of the country and the M-2 highway which connects to the rest of Montenegro and Serbia. The road winds through mountainous terrain, offering scenic views but also presenting challenges for drivers, particularly in winter conditions. Improvement projects have been undertaken to enhance safety and traffic flow along sections of this road.
