Brian Baker (musician)

Brian Baker (born February 25, 1965) is an American punk rock musician. He is best known as a guitarist for the bands Minor Threat, Dag Nasty, and Bad Religion.

Baker began his musical career at a young age, becoming involved in the Washington D.C. hardcore punk scene. He was a founding member of Minor Threat in 1980, a highly influential band that helped to define the straight edge movement within punk rock. He played guitar on their seminal EPs and albums before the band's dissolution in 1983.

Following Minor Threat, Baker joined Dag Nasty, another prominent hardcore band. He contributed to their early albums and helped establish their melodic hardcore sound.

In 1994, Baker joined Bad Religion, replacing Brett Gurewitz. He has been a member of Bad Religion ever since, contributing to numerous albums and playing a significant role in the band's ongoing success. His guitar work is a notable aspect of their sound, providing a mix of punk energy and technical skill.
