Frederick Cuthbert (cricketer)

Frederick Cuthbert (born 20 September 1867, date of death unknown) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and right-arm slow bowler who played first-class cricket for Somerset County Cricket Club between 1890 and 1894.

Cuthbert made his first-class debut for Somerset against Sussex in August 1890, scoring 0 and 11. He played sporadically over the next few seasons, never establishing himself as a regular member of the team. His highest score was 34, made against Gloucestershire in 1893.

In his first-class career, Cuthbert played 17 matches, scoring 218 runs at an average of 7.60, with a highest score of 34. He took 1 wicket at a cost of 46 runs. Little other information is readily available about his life or cricketing career outside of these basic statistics. His last known first-class match was against Cambridge University in June 1894.
