Feria de Madrid (Madrid Metro)
Feria de Madrid is a station on Line 8 of the Madrid Metro. It is located in the Barajas district of Madrid, serving the IFEMA (Institución Ferial de Madrid) trade fair complex. The station is named after the Feria de Madrid, which is the official name of the IFEMA exhibition grounds.
The station opened on June 24, 1998, as part of the extension of Line 8 from Campo de las Naciones to Barajas Airport. It is situated between the stations Campo de las Naciones and Aeropuerto T1-T2-T3.
Feria de Madrid station is designed to handle large crowds, particularly during major trade fairs and events. It has wide platforms and multiple entrances/exits to facilitate passenger flow. The station primarily serves visitors attending events at IFEMA. Outside of event times, ridership is typically low compared to other stations on the Madrid Metro network.
