Georgi Georgiev (judoka, born 1976)

Georgi Georgiev (born January 30, 1976) is a Bulgarian judoka. He competed primarily in the -66kg (extra-lightweight) and -73kg (lightweight) categories.

Georgiev represented Bulgaria at multiple Olympic Games, including Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, and Beijing 2008. His most significant achievement was a bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens in the -66kg category. This was a notable accomplishment for Bulgarian judo.

He also competed in numerous World Championships and European Championships, achieving various top finishes throughout his career. Georgiev's consistent performances at international level made him a prominent figure in Bulgarian sports.
