Wished (film)

Wished is an upcoming American animated musical fantasy comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is scheduled to be released on November 22, 2023. The film is directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn, and stars the voices of Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine, and Alan Tudyk.

The story is set in the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force, a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront King Magnifico, the ruler of Rosas, to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.

Wished is intended to celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. It is inspired by the visual style of Disney's classic animated films and features original songs written by Julia Michaels and Benjamin Rice.
