Cédric O

Cédric O (born December 18, 1982) is a French politician and businessman. He served as Secretary of State for Digital Affairs of France, attached to the Minister for the Economy and Finance, from 2019 to 2022 under the government of Prime Minister Édouard Philippe and later Jean Castex.

Prior to entering government, Cédric O held various positions in the private sector, primarily in the telecommunications and technology industries. He was a partner at investment bank Rothschild & Co.

As Secretary of State for Digital Affairs, he was involved in shaping France's digital policy, including initiatives related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the regulation of online platforms. He also represented France in international discussions on digital issues. His tenure was marked by efforts to promote French and European technological sovereignty.
