Winston Davis (Kittitian cricketer)

Winston Davis (born September 18, 1958, in Saint Peter's, Saint Kitts) is a former West Indian cricketer. He was a right-arm fast bowler and a right-handed batsman.

Davis played 15 Test matches and 25 One Day Internationals for the West Indies between 1983 and 1988. He is best remembered for his outstanding performance in the 1983 Cricket World Cup match against Australia at Headingley, where he took 7 wickets for 51 runs, a World Cup record at the time. This performance helped the West Indies to a comfortable victory.

Davis's career was cut short by a spinal injury sustained in a fall in 1997. He became a Christian minister after his playing career ended.
