William Leach (cricketer, born 1851)
William Leach (born 25 October 1851, date of death unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Kent County Cricket Club between 1873 and 1879. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm roundarm bowler, although his bowling style was considered unorthodox.
Leach made his first-class debut for Kent against Gloucestershire at Gravesend in July 1873, scoring 7 and 0. He played sporadically for the county side over the next several seasons, making his final appearance against Surrey at The Oval in August 1879. In total, Leach played in 11 first-class matches, scoring 109 runs at an average of 5.45 with a highest score of 28. He took 1 wicket at a cost of 14 runs.
