William Brooks (Australian politician)

William Brooks (1864 – 1950) was an Australian politician. He served as a Senator for New South Wales from 1925 to 1932, representing the Australian Labor Party (ALP). Prior to his federal political career, Brooks was active in New South Wales state politics, holding a seat in the New South Wales Legislative Council. He was known for his involvement in union activities and his advocacy for workers' rights. His senatorial service included participation in debates concerning economic policy, industrial relations, and social welfare. He lost his seat in the 1931 election.
