Section Eight (film)

Section Eight is a 2022 American action thriller film directed by Christian Sesma and starring Ryan Kwanten, Dolph Lundgren, Dermot Mulroney, and Scott Adkins. The film follows Jake Atherton, a former soldier who, after avenging his family's murder, finds himself betrayed by the titular "Section Eight," a shadowy organization he previously worked for. He is then forced to go on the run to expose their corrupt practices.

The film was released in theaters and on demand on September 23, 2022, by RLJE Films. It received generally negative reviews, with critics citing its convoluted plot, generic action sequences, and underutilization of its cast.
