Pauline Davis (politician)
Pauline L. Davis (born July 14, 1917, died August 15, 1995) was an American politician who served as a Democratic member of the California State Assembly for the 1st district from 1953 to 1975. Her district encompassed several rural Northern California counties.
Davis was known for her advocacy for rural communities and natural resource issues, particularly concerning water and forestry. She was a strong supporter of the timber industry and worked to protect the interests of agriculture and ranching in her district.
