Weapons (band)

Weapons were an American hard rock/post-hardcore band formed in 2012 in New York City. The band consisted of vocalist Tom Maxwell (also known for his work in the band Closure in Moscow), guitarist Sean Ageman, bassist Patrick Sullivan, and drummer Isaac Parker.

Weapons gained some notoriety for their aggressive sound, combining elements of hard rock, post-hardcore, and alternative metal. They released their debut album, Rogue, in 2012 through Red Music/Sony Music. Rogue received mixed to positive reviews, with some critics praising the band's energy and musicianship, while others found the album somewhat derivative of other bands in the genre.

Weapons toured in support of Rogue, playing shows with various other rock and metal acts. However, the band was relatively short-lived, and ultimately disbanded several years after the album's release. No official reason was publicly given for their disbandment. Since the breakup, members have pursued other musical projects.
