Void (fanzine)

Void was a science fiction and fantasy fanzine published sporadically from 1971 to 1980. It was edited and primarily published by Greg Shaw. While not a visually lavish fanzine, Void gained a reputation for its strong critical writing, focusing particularly on the New Wave movement in science fiction, and for publishing original fiction from up-and-coming writers who later became established professionals. Notable contributors included figures involved in both the science fiction and music scenes of the period. Void is considered an important artifact in the history of science fiction fandom and the development of critical analysis within the genre.
