Vincent Smith (politician)

Vincent Smith is an American politician. He served as a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives for District 115, representing portions of Clarke County, from 1993 to 2017.

During his time in the Georgia House, Smith served on several committees, including Appropriations, Higher Education, and Judiciary Non-Civil. He was known for his advocacy on issues related to education, particularly higher education funding and access, as well as for his work on criminal justice reform.

Smith holds a law degree and has practiced law in Athens, Georgia. He is also involved in various community organizations and civic activities. After leaving the Georgia House of Representatives, he has remained involved in public policy and civic engagement.
