Sde Moshe

Sde Moshe (Hebrew: שְׂדֵה מֹשֶׁה, lit. Field of Moses) is a moshav in southern Israel. Located in the Hevel Lakhish region and falling under the jurisdiction of Lakhish Regional Council, it was founded in 1956 as part of the effort to settle the area and absorb new immigrants.

The moshav was established by immigrants from North Africa, particularly Morocco and Tunisia. Its name commemorates Moses, the biblical leader of the Israelites. The primary economic activity in Sde Moshe is agriculture, including field crops, orchards, and livestock. Over time, some residents have diversified into other areas of employment.

The community maintains a synagogue, community center, and other facilities typical of a rural Israeli moshav. Sde Moshe participates in regional initiatives and maintains connections with other communities in the Lakhish Regional Council.
