Việt Trì
Việt Trì is a city in Phú Thọ Province, in the northern midlands and mountainous region of Vietnam. It is the provincial capital of Phú Thọ. Việt Trì is located at the confluence of the Red River, the Lô River, and the Đà River, making it an important transportation and economic hub for the region.
Historically, Việt Trì has been considered one of the cradles of Vietnamese civilization, with evidence of human habitation dating back thousands of years. The city is closely associated with the Hùng kings, who are considered the founders of the Vietnamese nation. The Hùng Temple, a complex of temples dedicated to the Hùng kings, is located in Việt Trì and is a major pilgrimage site for Vietnamese people.
