Undercover Boss (British TV series)

Undercover Boss is a British reality television series based on the original American version of the same name. Each episode features a high-ranking executive or the owner of a corporation going undercover as an entry-level employee within their own company. The executive changes their appearance and assumes a fictitious identity to avoid being recognised.

The purpose of going undercover is to gain an unfiltered perspective of the company's operations, identify areas for improvement, and learn firsthand about the experiences and challenges faced by frontline staff. During their undercover stint, the executive works alongside ordinary employees in various roles, often performing tasks they are unfamiliar with.

Throughout the show, the disguised executive typically encounters dedicated and hardworking employees, as well as problems and inefficiencies within the company's structure. The experience often leads to a greater understanding of the human element within the business and the impact of management decisions on the workforce.

At the end of each episode, the executive reveals their true identity to the employees they worked with. The executive also implements changes based on their undercover experiences, aiming to address issues identified during their time working undercover.
