Undaria

Undaria is a genus of brown algae (Phaeophyceae) belonging to the family Alariaceae. The most well-known and commercially significant species within this genus is Undaria pinnatifida, commonly known as wakame.

Undaria pinnatifida is a large, edible seaweed native to the coasts of Japan, Korea, and China.
