USS Whippet (IX-129)

USS Whippet (IX-129) was an unclassified miscellaneous vessel of the United States Navy during World War II. She was originally a civilian yacht, built as Hi-Esmaro. Acquired by the Navy and placed in service in 1942, she served primarily in the Caribbean area.
