1945 Birthday Honours (New Zealand)
The 1945 Birthday Honours for New Zealand were appointments by King George VI to various orders and honours to reward and highlight good works by citizens of that country. They were announced on 14 June 1945, to celebrate the King's official birthday.
The honours list recognised service in connection with the Second World War, as well as civilian contributions to society.
The recipients of honours are displayed here as they were styled before their new honour, and arranged by honour, with classes (Knight/Dame Grand Cross, Knight/Dame Commander, Commander, Officer, Member) and then divisions (Civil, Military) as appropriate.
