USS LST-3

USS LST-3 was a United States Navy LST-1-class tank landing ship built by the Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Co. in Newport News, Virginia. She was commissioned in August 1942.

LST-3 participated in several World War II operations in the Pacific Theater, including the Guadalcanal Campaign, and the New Georgia Group operation. She transported troops, vehicles, and supplies to support these operations.

After the war, LST-3 was decommissioned in 1946 and subsequently struck from the Naval Vessel Register.
