Twista

Twista (born Carl Terrell Mitchell on November 27, 1973) is an American rapper and record producer. He is best known for his tongue-twisting, rapid-fire delivery style.

Twista rose to fame in the early 1990s, initially under the name Tung Twista, earning a Guinness World Record in 1992 as the fastest rapper in the world. He released his debut album, Runnin' Off at da Mouth, in 1991.

His breakthrough came with his third album, Adrenaline Rush (1997), which achieved platinum status and featured the hit single "Get It Wet". Further mainstream success followed in the 2000s with albums like Kamikaze (2004), which reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart and included the hit single "Slow Jamz" featuring Kanye West and Jamie Foxx.

Twista has collaborated with numerous prominent artists throughout his career, including Jay-Z, Ludacris, Mariah Carey, and Timbaland. He is considered an influential figure in hip-hop, particularly within the Chicago rap scene, and is known for his complex rhyme schemes and lyrical dexterity. His discography includes multiple studio albums, compilations, and mixtapes.
