Tuwim (surname)
Julian Tuwim (1894-1953) was a Polish poet, known for his contributions to Polish literature, particularly poetry and satire. He was also a humorist, children's writer, and translator.
Tuwim was a leading figure in the Skamander group of poets, a group that emphasized modern themes and everyday language in their poetry, moving away from the more formal and patriotic styles of previous generations.
