Truskmore
Truskmore is a mountain in County Sligo, Ireland. It is the highest point in County Sligo and part of the Dartry Mountains range. Its summit reaches a height of 647 metres (2,123 ft).
Truskmore is a popular destination for hillwalkers and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including Donegal Bay, the Atlantic coast, and the Ox Mountains. Access to the summit is typically via marked trails from various starting points in the region.
The mountain is composed primarily of sandstone and shale. Its slopes are generally covered in moorland vegetation, including heather, gorse, and grasses.
Truskmore is also the location of a radio transmitter, which provides broadcasting services to a wide area. The transmitter masts are a prominent feature on the mountain's summit.
