Casey Coleman (baseball)

Casey James Coleman (born June 12, 1987) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago Cubs, Kansas City Royals, and Toronto Blue Jays, and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Hanshin Tigers.

Coleman was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 15th round of the 2008 MLB draft. He made his major league debut with the Cubs on September 6, 2010. He pitched for the Cubs through the 2011 season, primarily as a relief pitcher.

In 2012, Coleman was traded to the Kansas City Royals. He pitched for the Royals in 2012 and 2013.

In 2013, Coleman was claimed off waivers by the Toronto Blue Jays. He appeared in 1 game for the Blue Jays.

Coleman signed with the Hanshin Tigers of Nippon Professional Baseball for the 2014 season.

Casey Coleman is the son of former MLB pitcher Joe Coleman and the grandson of former MLB player Joe Rogan.
