Tulsa Oilers (1928–1951)

The Tulsa Oilers were a minor league baseball team based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that played in the Texas League from 1928 to 1951. They were affiliated with various Major League Baseball teams during their existence, including the St. Louis Cardinals. The Oilers played their home games at Oiler Park (later known as Texas League Park). The team experienced varying degrees of success, with periods of strong performance and league championships mixed with less successful seasons. The Oilers were a significant part of the Tulsa sports scene during their time, contributing to the city's baseball heritage. After the 1951 season, the team relocated and ceased to be the Tulsa Oilers.
