Tony Wadsworth (music executive)

Tony Wadsworth is a British music industry executive known for his long and successful career at EMI Records, ultimately rising to become Chairman and CEO of EMI Music UK & Ireland.

Wadsworth joined EMI in 1982 and held various marketing and management roles within the company. He was instrumental in the success of numerous artists across a range of genres, playing a key role in the development and promotion of both British and international talent. He is particularly associated with the Britpop era, having overseen the careers of bands such as Blur, Radiohead, and Robbie Williams during their formative years.
