Jaguwala
Jaguwala is a slang term, primarily used in some South Asian communities (particularly within India and Pakistan), to refer to individuals involved in the transportation, distribution, or sale of illegal substances, most commonly drugs. It often implies a lower-level dealer or runner rather than a high-ranking kingpin. The term carries a strong negative connotation and is considered derogatory. The etymology is believed to stem from "jagaa" (a place) and "wala" (a person associated with), implying someone who operates within a specific area dealing in illicit goods. Its usage can also sometimes extend metaphorically to describe someone engaged in other types of illicit or questionable activities within a defined location or community.
