Pallubasa
Pallubasa is a traditional Indonesian soup originating from Makassar, South Sulawesi. It is a rich and savory dish typically made with beef or water buffalo, and seasoned with a variety of spices, including galangal, ginger, turmeric, lemongrass, and chili. A distinctive characteristic of Pallubasa is the use of serundeng (desiccated coconut flakes) which adds a unique texture and nutty flavor to the broth. The soup is usually served hot with rice and often accompanied by lime or chili sauce for added flavor. Pallubasa is considered a popular and iconic culinary dish of Makassar.
