Tomohiko Ito (footballer)
Tomohiko Ito (born May 28, 1978) is a former Japanese football player. He primarily played as a midfielder.
Ito played for several clubs in Japan throughout his career. His professional career began at Nagoya Grampus Eight in 1997. He then moved to Ventforet Kofu in 1999, spending a significant part of his career there. Following his time at Ventforet Kofu, Ito played for Shonan Bellmare in 2004. His career continued with Cerezo Osaka from 2005-2007. Ito’s career concluded with Mito HollyHock from 2008-2009 before retiring.
His playing career was largely based in the J2 League, the second tier of Japanese professional football.
