Parque Oeste (Madrid Metro)

Parque Oeste is a station on Line 7 of the Madrid Metro. It is located in Zone A and serves the western area of Madrid, specifically the Ventilla neighborhood in the district of Fuencarral-El Pardo.

The station opened on May 4, 1999, as part of the extension of Line 7 from Valdezarza to Pitis. The station is located underground and features two platforms and two tracks.

The name "Parque Oeste" refers to the nearby Parque del Oeste (West Park), a large public park in Madrid. The station provides access to the park, as well as residential areas and local businesses. The station's pictogram depicts a silhouette of the Teleférico cable car that operates within the Parque del Oeste, offering aerial views of the city.

Parque Oeste connects to several bus lines operated by EMT Madrid, facilitating onward travel for passengers. The station is designed to be accessible to people with disabilities, featuring elevators and other accessibility features.
