Medio (company)
Medio was a Seattle-based company specializing in predictive analytics, particularly for the mobile and telecommunications industries. Founded in 2004, Medio developed technologies to analyze large datasets of mobile user behavior, aiming to provide insights into customer preferences, usage patterns, and churn prediction.
Medio’s core offerings revolved around providing actionable intelligence to mobile carriers and device manufacturers, helping them to personalize services, optimize marketing campaigns, and improve customer retention. They provided platforms that processed and analyzed mobile data to forecast future trends and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
In 2014, Medio was acquired by Telenav, a provider of location-based services. Following the acquisition, Medio’s technology was integrated into Telenav's offerings to enhance its location intelligence and analytics capabilities. The Medio brand name was eventually phased out as its functions were fully absorbed into Telenav.
