Netolice

Netolice is a town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It is located approximately 16 kilometers (10 mi) northeast of Prachatice, at the foot of the Bohemian Forest.

Netolice is historically significant as a former center of glassmaking and agriculture. Its history dates back to the 10th century. The town contains several notable landmarks including the ruins of Netolice Castle, the Church of St. Wenceslaus, and a town square with examples of Baroque and Renaissance architecture.

Administratively, Netolice functions as a municipality with extended competence, serving as a local center for surrounding villages and towns.
