WKLO-TV
WKLO-TV was a television station broadcasting on channel 23 in Louisville, Kentucky. It operated from November 1953 to September 1954.
WKLO-TV was owned by Mid-America Broadcasting Corporation, which also owned WKLO radio. The station primarily broadcast network programming from ABC and DuMont, as well as local news and entertainment.
Financial difficulties and competition from established stations WHAS-TV and WAVE-TV led to the station's closure less than a year after its launch. Its assets were eventually sold. The WKLO-TV call letters were later used by a low-power television station in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
